A/W Wish List

So here are a few things that I really want to get at some point this A/W [If I get a job!]. Leather, khaki, sparkles, and these gold bar belts are really on trend this season. I am looking for a long lasting winter coat and this one looks really warm and comfy, plus this style is pretty much EVERYWHERE at the moment. Primark offer a great cheap alternative but this 'New In This Week' by Topshop jacket would probably last a lot longer and be better quality. I don't usually select jackets just because they have a hood because I would prefer to use an umbrella to shelter me from this rubbish British weather, however, I do still have a lovely winter coat I bought in Switzerland about 2-3 years ago which is Khaki and has fur on it so i'm glad that it's still considered 'fashionable'.

I have seen a lot of good reviews about this MAC Mineralize Skinfinish so I would LOVE to try it out for myself, I always use powders sometimes more-so than I wear foundation because I don't really have trouble with my skin as it's one tone and really clear. I have also seen some good reviews on these Topshop lipsticks and the colour I selected looks great!

I have wanted some Jeffrey Campbell Coltranes for so long now, I need a job so bad! they would definitely be at the top of my list of buys when i'd get my wages. Anyway, this pretty heart-shaped cut out top from ASOS would look lovely for this time of the year or even later on when the Christmas celebrations start to come around.

I have seen these gold bar belts everywhere recently and think they look great with almost anything, you could really dress yourself up or down with one of these. This is also 'New In This Week' from Topshop. It's priced at £25, I think that they'll become more popular in high street stores soon and there will be some cheaper alternatives so I will keep looking around.

"I feel like a spice girl"

What you just witnessed is my friend [Fleur] and I's failed attempt at modelling for her coursework. I'm wearing JW Topshop collection t'shirt and a Primark necklace. Fleur [blonde] is wearing an Oasis faux leather peplum and using my oriental fan from Vietnam as a prop.

Just to clarify my ends of my hair are not intentionally orange, I had quite dark browny/reddy ends and i'm trying to achieve the ombre look, i'm almost there! also my hair hadn't been straightened this is from where I had let it dry naturally. [I'm all frizz I swear]

Anyway I have college tomorrow, doubt i'll have time to take an outfit photo but I will try! thank you for reading x

I lied

Oops! I said i'd be returning soon with some new posts and I didn't. I haven't actually been that busy [sitting inside, lounging, eating, watching programmes/films] I guess I just haven't been anywhere interesting that would need me to blog about it!

I have just started my 2 year course and Plymouth College of Art studying Fashion and Textiles. We have only just completed a 'taster' project called wasted where we had to create a piece of work out of recycled materials. This piece of work had to be based around a word, culture and body part. I chose the neck, the word exaggerate and the African culture. When I get my pictures from my shoot I will post them [although my piece fell apart on my model and we had to pin it together].

Also tomorrow i'm helping a friend out by modelling for her magazine cover that she has to create as a part of her course Graphic Design and Illustration which shall be fun, i'll also try and upload some of those.

Anyway, now that I have finished the 'taster' project we're moving onto 'Little Black Dress' which I can't wait to get into! I've already got hundreds of ideas. All-in-all I will now start posting photos of my creations/outfits more often [when I remember too] and hope that you keep subscribed!

Thanks
